The Voice: An Owner's Manual - Class mp3 Downloads
The MP3s below are offered to help you practice and experiment with some of the exercises we've been doing in class. They are short (none of them are longer than 3 minutes) reminders of some of the tools we've been using in class. The first 2 files are me talking - a reintroduction to muscle isolation and the tools and second instructions for use of the mp3s. The others are labeled with their tool name.
In keeping with what we have been doing these past two weeks, before you start each one, reestablish the breathing sensation (suspending the breath inside your body using your breathing-in muscles) and do some "nasty sounds" or "surprise sounds" to get your optimal resonance in place. Then play along with the recording.
