Making Life Better by James Vandenburg is a collection of truth-seeking essays that look at choices a person can make through self examination and thought processes. I cannot diminish its value by merely calling it a self-help book. It is an honest and refreshing way to get you moving in the right direction.
This book is very easy to understand. You can effortlessly follow along. Just by reading you simultaneously start to hear yourself think in a way that helps you improve your mental and emotional blockages. It's a wonderful thing when an author can get your thoughts cranking and you start to believe that not only can you change your life, but you are actually doing it while reading the book.
What I enjoyed most about this book is how Vandenburg arrived at his point without over explaining. He cites various examples where he shows you how he turned everyday life experiences into valuable lessons.
This book would make an excellent gift to you or to a friend to go along with that cup of morning coffee. This can be your daily dose of motivation. I usually write reviews that state the positive and negative sides of a book, in this case the only there is no negative side, except the thoughts you release when you accept in the positive lessons eloquently presented by Vandenburg.
